For me, Whitepod is a history of heart, far beyond being a business. It was in 2007 that I utterly and totally fell in love with this place its overall concept. Whitepod has allowed me to escape from my -I must admit “boring”.- real estate and financial affairs as well as to realize a dream.
Whitepod is an atypical place, where our staff is treated like family who shared the values that made Whitepod a success. These values are respect, generosity, joy and creativity.
Respect, by the constant respect we have for these grounds and the surrounding environment but also by the way we try to give our visitors the space and intimacy they need throughout their stay. Generosity, in the way we all sincerely welcome you and try to make your stay marked forever in your mind. Joy, not only in the art of welcoming you but also in the way we are always happy to serve your interests first. And finally, creativity, that we try implement at every moment to surprise you and make your stay at Whitepod memorable.

Whitepod’s philosophy
Our concern for the environment is the essence of our philosophy. Whitepod hotel as you seen it now is the result of an important research on minimizing negative impacts on the environment. We have selected for you the main aspects of this philosophy:
The Pod
Your pod is probably the most unique element of your stay. It was selected for its unique shape, its minimal visual impact, its robustness and its safety. The structure of the pod is made of steel bars and can support significant winds and a considerable amount of snow. Its isolation has been tripled to minimize heat loss.
With its white cover in the winter and green cover in the summer, the visual impact of the pod is virtually zero on the landscape. Each pod offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.
Local Contribution
Whitepod supports financially local associations for example the St-Hubert workshop: a sheltered workshop in Monthey which provides us all our crockery. For more details, or to visit the workshop, please contact the reception.
Local economy
We support our local economy by purchasing in our region all goods and services we need. Our Chef will tell you everything about the quality of products for every meal and our restaurant manager will gladly share with you its local network of suppliers.

2004
Creation of Whitepod with 3 Pods in Villars-sur-Ollon, 10 m2, without water or electricity
2005
Moved the Pods to Les Giettes right opposite of the Les Cerniers restaurant, take over of the Les Cerniers restaurant
2009
Creation of 15 brand new Pods of 40 m2 each, all with bathrooms and electricity on the current site, complete renovation of the Pod House
2012
Creation of a conference room at the Pod House
2013
Launch of Whitepod summer, creation of “Family” Pods
2014
Creation “Deluxe” Pods, creation of a new the sauna area and a large massage rooms at the Pod House
2015
Aménagement d’un salon privé au restaurant Les Cerniers
Transformation of a private dining area at the Les Cerniers restaurant
2017
Creation of 3 new Pods Suites: 007, Swiss and Foret, Flocon joins the team
2018
Creation of the Zen Pod Suite, a new reception chalet and the Chef’s Table
